To continue the utilization of the nuclear fission energy, the management of the high-level radioactive waste (HLW) is one of the most important issues to be solved. Partitioning and Transmutation (P&T) technology of HLW is expected to be effective to mitigate the burden of the HLW disposal by reducing the radiological toxicity and heat generation. The Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) has been continuously implementing research and development (R&D) on P&T technology. The R&D on P&T in JAEA are basing on two kinds of concepts: one is the homogeneous recycling of minor actinide (MA) in commercial fast breeder reactors and the other is the dedicated MA transmutation, so-called "double-strata" strategy, using an accelerator-driven system (ADS).

To understand the YY interaction, it is necessary to identify nucleus of daughter particle. For the development of this method, the key point is that track thickness of charged particles in the emulsion reflects their energy-losses. We summed up their energy-losses up to 100 um for each particle, and obtained ratios for H. Their ratio for He, Li Be and B becomes large by 4, 8, 12, 17 times rather than that of H, respectively. In this presentation, we will report status analysis and future plan.

J-PARC facility consists of three accelerators, which are 400 MeV Linac, 3 GeV Rapid Cycling Synchrotron (RCS), 50 GeV Main Ring synchrotron (MR). These accelerators provides MW-class high intensity proton beam to multipurpose experiments where the produced secondary particles at targets are used. RCS successfully achieved 1 MW output of designed beam power with high repetition rate of 25 Hz for a short time. In user operation, RCS achieved to provide high power beam up to 500 kW. I will report present status. Additionally, I will mention future plan under design work.

We developed HypTPC for H-dibaryon search experiment at J-PARC. HypTPC can measure high-intensity Kaon beam and decay of hyperon. We have done high voltage test and confirmed it works well.
